Dessert No-bake Oatmeal Fudge Cookies

(Now that we've eaten healthy for dinner, ti's time for a dessert that is in NO POSSIBLE WAY good for you. However, it's a great recipe for kids, because it's messy, but there's a lot they can help with.)

These also look -- or can be shaped to look -- like turds. I'm just sayin'.

Mix together and boil for about five minutes:

2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1 dash of salt

Turn off the heat and add:

2 sticks (yes, two WHOLE sticks) of REAL BUTTER. (Shut up and listen to your arteries clog!)
2 tbs of real vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups of quaker instant oats

Stir this mixture continuously, until it is no longer glossy, for about five minutes, or until your arm falls off. (If you've done this right, your arm might be sore for awhile.)

Drop by spoonsful onto waxed paper and let them sit until they are firm.
(You can eat a spoonful, if no one catches you.)

DON'T put them in the 'fridge -- they won't sey up properly, and you'll have to lick them off of the waxed paper.

You can substitute 1/2 cup of pecans or walnuts for 1/2 cup of oatmeal, or
1/2 cup of peanut butter for one stick of margarine.

Festive! Turd shaped cookies... kind of redundant given they'll eventually turn into turds themselves:) LOVE IT!

GMTA!!
