Maven's Secret Gyro Burgers

Ingredients:

2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
2 Tbsp Parsley, Minced
5 Jumbo black olives, sliced
4 oz Crumbled Feta
1 lb Ground lamb
black pepper and paprika to taste

Procedure:

  1. Mince, slice and crumble all ingredients.
  2. Mix well with lamb and form into four patties OR can be formed into four "logs" put on skewers. (If using wooden skewers, soak them for an hour in boiling water to prevent burning)
  3. Grill or broil as preferred

    Serves 4

    Serving Suggestions:

    --Can be served with a cucumber dill salad or with (low carb) soft tortillas and homemade tzaziki
    --Serve with buttery couscous studded with golden raisins and pistaschios and almonds, flecked with garlic, fresh mint and parsley
