Ass-kicking French Onion Soup.

You will need:

3 onions (at least 3/4 lb each), quartered and sliced thick
1 stick butter (real butter, wussy)
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c, packed brown sugar
32 oz beef broth
10 oz water

To prepare:

Preheat oven to 325,
In a deep oven-safe pot (preferably cast iron), melt the butter.
Add the crushed garlic and sautee.
Throw in the Worcestershire and brown sugar.
(You can toss in a couple of splashes of Tabasco, for kick)

Once all of this has mixed well, throw in the onion, toss until coated, and sautee for five minutes.

Then, place the pot in the oven for 2 and 1/2 hours, stirring the onions occasionally.

Pull the pot out and put it on the stove top.
Add the beef broth and water, and heat to a simmer.

Serve with cheesy croutons (home-made), or melted cheese (Gruyere) on top!
